What Material To Choose?

When shopping for a bed rack, you will see steel and aluminum being offered as material choices.

Which material is for you?

To answer that question, you have to ask yourself how, and where you will use the rack.

Advantages of steel:

  • Less expensive

  • Generally stronger

Advantages of aluminum:

  • Cannot rust, ever

  • Lighter

If you are going to use the rack near saltwater or on salty winter roads, aluminum is the obvious choice. A lighter aluminum rack may also prevent you from having to make expensive suspension upgrades. Aluminum racks are also easier to install and remove from your truck.

If you are going to be carrying heavy loads, or bomb down rough trails, a steel rack is the way to go, and it will be a little more budget friendly.

Pioneers in our field....

In 2016 we developed the first bolt together modular truck bed rack. In the beginning, our racks were only compatible with the Toyota Tacoma, but now we have options for every truck, and we ship all over the world.

Later the same year, we developed brackets that allow the use of tonneau covers with our bed racks. We are leaders in bed rack/tonneau cover compatibility.

Since then we have continued to pioneer and develop new products for your truck, and we will continue to do so.

And now, a random photo dump including old and new gear!!

We have added a 1.5” TeraFlex leveling kit, and one of our 14” Max Modular bed racks.

Also added is a CVT tent for an upcoming camping trip.

This week we will be adding 2” spacers for a more aggressive stance.
