Throwback to Summer.....How We Miss Thee

Sure, winter sports are fun. Skiing and snowmobiling are great.

But let’s be honest……summer is the king of all seasons.

More Than Just a Kayak Rack

Our new VRS Kayak Racks are more than just simple boat carriers. Built on the VRS platform, they have serious modular potential.

Set them up however you want!! See them here.

More New Stuff!!

Response to our new VRS bed racks has been amazing, so we are going to expand that product line.

Some customers just want to carry kayaks, or a tent, without a bunch of offroad gear, so we are working on a more simplified version.

Check out these preview pics of our VRS Load Bars.

Cool New Stuff Coming!!

We have spent the winter designing and testing some great new products.

Among the new lineup is a 5 Gallon Jerry Can Holder, a 5 Pound Propane Tank Mount, and an entirely new line of tonneau compatible truck bed racks.

The new bed racks are unlike anything that you’ve ever seen before. We have a full line of accessories and integrated storage systems to accompany them.

Stay tuned!!

What Material To Choose?

When shopping for a bed rack, you will see steel and aluminum being offered as material choices.

Which material is for you?

To answer that question, you have to ask yourself how, and where you will use the rack.

Advantages of steel:

  • Less expensive

  • Generally stronger

Advantages of aluminum:

  • Cannot rust, ever

  • Lighter

If you are going to use the rack near saltwater or on salty winter roads, aluminum is the obvious choice. A lighter aluminum rack may also prevent you from having to make expensive suspension upgrades. Aluminum racks are also easier to install and remove from your truck.

If you are going to be carrying heavy loads, or bomb down rough trails, a steel rack is the way to go, and it will be a little more budget friendly.

Why use a Roof Top Tent (RTT)?

Camping is supposed to be fun, but sometimes it isn’t…..

Setting up or breaking down a ground tent in the rain is one of the least enjoyable things you can do in the outdoors (aside from getting eaten by a bear).

Weather is the primary reason that we made the switch to a roof top tent, but what are some of the other reasons?

First and foremost, COMFORT!! Roof top tents have extremely comfortable, self contained mattresses, and there is no air mattress to blow up. There is also no air mattress to deflate when packing for home, or worse yet, to deflate unexpectedly in the middle of the night when you’re supposed to be sleeping.

Comfortable temperatures are also easier to achieve with RTT’s. Being off the ground helps keep you warmer, but being off the ground also makes air flow easier for when it’s sweltering outside.

The advantage of being elevated also helps keep pests out. Setting up a tent on the ground is an open invitation to every critter in the forest.

Finally, setup and take down is considerably easier and faster with a roof top tent. When we camp, we want to get straight to the fun. Spending 30 minutes setting up a ground tent is not what we call fun, and trying to fold up a damp and dirty ground tent when it’s time to go home is even less fun.

We hope this blog entry is helpful to anybody who is on the fence about roof top tents. We made the switch years ago, and there is no turning back now.

Pioneers in our field....

In 2016 we developed the first bolt together modular truck bed rack. In the beginning, our racks were only compatible with the Toyota Tacoma, but now we have options for every truck, and we ship all over the world.

Later the same year, we developed brackets that allow the use of tonneau covers with our bed racks. We are leaders in bed rack/tonneau cover compatibility.

Since then we have continued to pioneer and develop new products for your truck, and we will continue to do so.

And now, a random photo dump including old and new gear!!

Ditch Lights Added to our Gladiator!!

We have installed Rigid Industries on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The install was a breeze, and the quality and performance of the lights is second to none.

Jeep Gladiator Bed Rack

Quick update on our Jeep Gladiator build.

We have added a 1.5” TeraFlex leveling kit, and one of our 14” Max Modular bed racks.

Also added is a CVT tent for an upcoming camping trip.

This week we will be adding 2” spacers for a more aggressive stance.

New Shop Rig!!

After a lot of searching, we found a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon!!

We bought it second hand, as the wait time for a new one didn’t really work for us.

So far all we’ve done is replace the tires with 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The truck has a lot of rake from the factory, so we are going to level it out in a few days.

We will be primarily using this truck for product development and photography, and a little fun!!

Options for Your Jeep Gladiator

We know just how important functionality and style is to the Jeep Gladiator community. That’s why each of our bed rack variations provide you with a unique style to fit your exact needs. Lets take a look at the three main bed rack styles and how each one stands out in it’s own way.

The Pro-Max Bed Rack

Starting with the Pro-Max Bed Rack, part of our latest Pro Series line of racks and crossbars. What makes this rack stand out is just how customizable it is. Featuring horizontal and vertical accessory panels, this rack was designed to allow you to achieve the exact style and functionality you’ve been searching for. Equip your Pro-Max bed rack with integrated Pro-Max gear lockers and accessory mounts to turn your Gladiator into the ultimate overlanding machine. The Pro-Max bed rack is tonneau cover and roof top tent compatible.

The Cargo Rack

The Cargo Rack is perfect for those who aren’t sold on the roof top tent idea and just looking for a rack to carry your gear while keeping easy access to the bed. Every surface of this rack is equipped with mounting holes allowing you to mount rotopax, hi-lift jacks, any pretty much anything you can think of. The Cargo Rack also features a storage tray in the middle so you can easily secure smaller items while on the trail. You won’t find more functionality in a smaller package anywhere else.

The Conventional Bed Rack (The OG)

The original Max-Modular bed rack is the rack that started it all. A tried and true, simple, yet effective design. Mount traction boards, mountain bikes, hi-lift jacks, rotopax any anything else you can think of to the sides, and put a RTT on top. The OG is tonneau cover and roof top tent compatible.
